During the refurbishment of its boiler, photojournalist Matt Nelson of Cedar Rapids, IA, KCRG-TV, produced a 27 minute video of No. 6, which followed the transformation from a pile of parts to a running steam locomotive.  The video originally aired on KCRG's channel 9.2 in midsummer, 2011.

"Narrow Gauge on the Heartland" was produced in the early 90's. Broken into 8 parts per youtube standards, the "video" provides a history of the MCRR -- and has some startling shots of various volunteers! Genuine VHS tapes are available in the MCRR's gift shop.
